[KITACO 535-1036238 Driven Sprocket Rear 38T 420 Size NS50F NSR50 KITACO 535-1036238]
The replacement timing for a sprocket is very vague as there are no clear standards.
"Wear on the tips of the teeth" is the deciding factor in such cases.
If the tips of the teeth become sharp, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time to replace it.
If you only replace one of the three components (front sprocket, rear sprocket, and chain) instead of all three at once, the worn-out parts that were not replaced will prevent the new part from performing as it should and reaching its full durability, leading to an earlier replacement time. Therefore, in the long run, it is recommended to replace all three at once for greater longevity.
This is the sprocket for the rear (wheel side).
To enable fine-tuned settings, it supports tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from chromoly high-tensile steel, boasting high durability.
Sprockets are consumable parts.
As a general guideline for regular riding, inspect the sprocket approximately every 1000km (daily oiling significantly extends the life of sprockets and chains).
The larger the numerical value of the gear ratio (rear sprocket tooth count ÷ front sprocket tooth count), the more emphasis is placed on acceleration, and the smaller the value, the more emphasis is placed on top speed.
