[KITACO 535-1036239 Drive Sprocket Rear 39T 420 Size NS50F NSR50 KITACO 535-1036239]
There is no clear standard for when to replace a sprocket, making it very ambiguous.
One criterion for judgment is "tooth wear."
When the tooth tips become pointed, or the belly and sides are worn down, it's time for replacement.
It is recommended to replace the front and rear sprockets and chain simultaneously. If you only replace one of these three parts, the new part's original performance and durability will be compromised by the worn parts that were not replaced, leading to a shorter lifespan. Ultimately, replacing all three simultaneously is more cost-effective in the long run.
This is the rear sprocket (wheel side).
To enable fine-tuned settings, we support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from highly durable chromoly high-tensile steel.
Sprockets are consumable parts.
As a general guideline for normal driving, inspect the sprocket approximately every 1000km (regular lubrication significantly improves the lifespan of sprockets and chains).
The larger the reduction ratio (rear sprocket teeth ÷ front sprocket teeth), the more acceleration-oriented the vehicle is; the smaller the ratio, the more top speed-oriented it is.
