The timing for replacing a sprocket is very ambiguous, with no clear standards.
One factor for determining this is "tooth wear."
If the teeth have become pointed, or the body or sides are worn down, it's time to replace the sprocket.
Replacing the front and rear sprockets and chain all at once. If you only replace one of these parts, the worn parts that haven't been replaced will prevent the new parts from performing at their best and lasting as long as they should, leading to an earlier replacement time. Therefore, in the long run, it is recommended to replace all three parts simultaneously for better longevity.
This is the rear sprocket (wheel side).
To enable detailed settings, it supports tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from chrome molybdenum high-tensile steel, boasting high durability.
Sprockets are consumable parts.
As a guideline for general riding, inspect the sprocket every approximately 1000km of travel (regular lubrication significantly improves the lifespan of sprockets and chains).
Rear sprocket tooth count ÷ Front sprocket tooth count = gear ratio. A higher value indicates acceleration-focused, while a lower value indicates top speed-focused.
