[KITACO 535-1036245 Drive Sprocket Rear 45T 420 Size NS50F NSR50 KITACO 535-1036245]
There is no clear standard for when to replace a sprocket, making it very ambiguous.
One factor to consider is "tooth wear."
When the teeth become sharp or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
Replacing the front and rear sprockets and chain all at once: If you only replace one part, the worn unreplaced parts will prevent the new parts from performing at their full potential and durability, leading to an earlier replacement time. Therefore, in the long run, replacing all three parts simultaneously is recommended as it will last longer.
This is the rear sprocket (wheel side).
We support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing to enable fine-tuned settings.
Made from high-tensile chromoly steel, boasting high durability.
Sprockets are consumables.
As a general guideline for normal driving, inspect the sprocket every approximately 1000km (regular lubrication significantly extends the life of the sprocket and chain).
The larger the reduction ratio (rear sprocket teeth ÷ front sprocket teeth), the more acceleration-oriented the vehicle is; the smaller the ratio, the more top speed-oriented it is.
