There is no clear standard for when to replace a sprocket, making it a very ambiguous decision.
The determining factor in such cases is "tooth wear."
If the tips of the teeth become pointed, or if the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
Simultaneous replacement of front and rear sprockets and chain: If you only replace one of the three, the new part will not be able to perform or last as intended due to the worn unreplaced parts, leading to an earlier replacement. Therefore, considering the long term, it is recommended to replace all three at the same time for better durability.
