[KITACO 535-1083337 Drive Sprocket Rear 37T 420 Size Monkey (6V & 12V) KITACO 535-1083337]
The timing for replacing a sprocket is ambiguous, as there is no clear standard.
One indicator for determining replacement is "tooth wear."
If the teeth become pointed, or if the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
Replacing the front and rear sprockets and chain simultaneously: If you only replace one of these three parts, the unreplaced worn parts will cause the new parts to wear out prematurely, preventing them from performing at their full potential and durability. Therefore, considering the long-term, it is recommended to replace all three parts simultaneously for better longevity.
This is the rear sprocket (wheel side).
To enable fine-tuned settings, we support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from highly durable chrome-molybdenum high-tensile steel.
Sprockets are consumables.
As a general guideline for normal driving, inspect the sprocket approximately every 1000km (regular lubrication significantly improves the lifespan of sprockets and chains).
Rear sprocket teeth count ÷ Front sprocket teeth count = Gear ratio: A higher value indicates a focus on acceleration, while a lower value indicates a focus on top speed.
Compatible models: Monkey/Baja Gorilla (Z50J-1300017-/AB27-1000001-1899999) ・Monkey FI (AB27-1900001-)
