One indicator for determining replacement is "tooth wear."
If the teeth become pointed, or if the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
Replacing the front and rear sprockets and chain simultaneously: If you only replace one of these three parts, the unreplaced worn parts will cause the new parts to wear out prematurely, preventing them from performing at their full potential and durability. Therefore, considering the long-term, it is recommended to replace all three parts simultaneously for better longevity.
