When to replace a sprocket: There are no clear criteria for when to replace a sprocket, so it's very ambiguous.
The key indicator for making a decision is "tooth wear."
If the teeth have become pointed or the belly or sides are worn, it's time to replace them.
Replacing all three: front and rear sprockets and chain simultaneously. If you only replace one of these, the worn parts that haven't been replaced will prevent the new parts from performing at their original capacity and durability, causing them to wear out prematurely. Therefore, considering the long term, it is recommended to replace all three at the same time for greater longevity.
This is the rear sprocket (wheel side).
To enable fine-tuned settings, we support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from highly durable chrome-molybdenum high-tensile steel.
Sprockets are consumables.
As a guideline for general riding, inspect your sprocket approximately every 1000 km (regular lubrication significantly improves the lifespan of sprockets and chains).
The higher the reduction ratio (rear sprocket tooth count ÷ front sprocket tooth count), the more acceleration-oriented it is; the lower the ratio, the more top-speed-oriented it is.
Compatible models: Monkey/Baja Gorilla (Z50J-1300017-/AB27-1000001-1899999), Monkey FI (AB27-1900001-)
