There is no clear standard for when to replace a sprocket, making it very ambiguous.
One factor to consider is "wear on the teeth."
It's time for a replacement when the teeth become sharp, or when the belly or sides are worn down.
Simultaneous replacement of front and rear sprockets and chain: If you only replace one of these parts, the worn parts that were not replaced will prevent the new part from performing to its full potential and durability, leading to an earlier replacement time. Therefore, in the long run, replacing all three parts simultaneously is recommended as it will last longer.
