The replacement time for sprockets is very ambiguous, with no clear standards.
One indicator for judgment is "tooth wear."
If the teeth become pointed, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time to replace them.
It is recommended to replace the front and rear sprockets and chain all at once. If you only replace one part, the worn parts that were not replaced will cause the new parts to wear out prematurely, preventing them from performing at their full potential and durability. In the long run, replacing all three parts at once will extend their lifespan.
Changing the gear ratio will cause a speedometer display error, so it is recommended for race use.
For general riding, inspect the sprocket every 1000km or so.
If the teeth are thin, replace them with new ones.
Regular lubrication significantly extends the life of the sprocket and chain.
