The timing for replacing a sprocket is very vague, with no clear standards.
One factor that can be used for judgment is "tooth wear."
If the teeth become sharp, or if the belly or sides are worn, it's time to replace it.
If you only replace one of the front and rear sprockets and the chain, the worn parts that were not replaced will prevent the new parts from performing at their full potential and durability, shortening their lifespan. Therefore, for long-term considerations, it is recommended to replace all three at the same time, as they will last longer.
