The timing for replacing a sprocket is very ambiguous, as there are no clear standards.
One factor to consider is "wear on the tooth tips."
It's time to replace the sprocket when the tooth tips become pointed or the belly and sides are worn down.
Replacing all three components simultaneously: front and rear sprockets and chain. If you only replace one of these, the unreplaced, worn-out parts will prevent the new parts from performing at their full potential and durability, leading to premature wear. Therefore, considering the long-term, it is recommended to replace all three at the same time for greater longevity.
This is the rear (wheel side) sprocket.
To enable fine-tuned settings, we support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from highly durable chrome molybdenum high-tensile steel.
Sprockets are consumable parts.
As a guideline for general riding, please inspect the sprocket approximately every 1000km (regular lubrication significantly extends the life of both sprockets and chains).
Rear sprocket tooth count ÷ Front sprocket tooth count = reduction ratio. A higher number indicates an acceleration-focused type, while a lower number indicates a top-speed-focused type.
Compatible models: KSR110 KL110A (all models)
KLX110 LX110A (all models)
