These brake pads are manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark.

It also shuts out moisture, preventing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed with 22 tons of pressure, and then subjected to 900 degrees Celsius heat for 3 hours in a furnace to bond the backplate.
