[KITACO 777-0638020 SBS Brake Pad 638HS Skywave 400 (R) K7 KITACO 777-0638020]
This is a brake pad manufactured by SBS, headquartered in Denmark, Northern Europe.
Boasting the world's number one market share in brake pads, SBS not only sells its own products but also widely engages in research, development, and sales, including OEM supply for motorcycles and automobiles, and support for racing. SBS brake pads feature a three-layer structure to achieve stable, top performance even in harsh conditions.
Brake lining material: Utilizes special "Ultrasonic UCT" technology to balance various materials.
Fiber ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backplate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It also prevents moisture from entering, thereby reducing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed under 22 tons of pressure, the backplate is compressed by applying 900 degrees of heat for 3 hours in a furnace.
