These brake pads are manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark.
SBS boasts the world's number one share in brake pads, not only through its own sales but also by supplying OEM products for motorcycles and automobiles, providing support for races, and extensively engaging in research, development, and sales. SBS brake pads feature a three-layer structure to ensure stable, top-notch performance even in extreme conditions.
Brake lining material: Special "Ultrasonic UCT" technology is effectively utilized to blend various materials in a balanced manner.
Fiber ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backplate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It also shuts out moisture, preventing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed under 22 tons of pressure, the backplate is then bonded with 900 degrees of heat for 3 hours in a furnace.
