These brake pads are manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark, Northern Europe.
SBS boasts the world's No. 1 share in brake pads, and in addition to its own sales, it broadly handles research, development, and sales, including OEM supply for motorcycles and automobiles, as well as support for races. SBS brake pads feature a three-layer structure that achieves stable, top-level performance even under harsh conditions.
Brake lining material: Special "Ultrasonic UCT" technology is effectively utilized to blend each material in a balanced way.
Fiber ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backplate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It shuts out moisture, thus suppressing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed under a pressure of 22 tons, and pressed onto the backplate by applying 900 degrees of heat for 3 hours in a furnace.
