These are brake pads made by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark, Northern Europe.

Fiber ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backplate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It also shuts out moisture, preventing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed under 22 tons of pressure, the backplate is bonded by applying 900 degrees of heat for 3 hours in a furnace.
