These are brake pads manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark, Northern Europe.
SBS boasts the world's number one share in brake pads, and in addition to its own sales, OEM supply to motorcycles and automobiles, and support for races, it is extensively involved in research, development, and sales. SBS brake pads feature a three-layer structure to achieve stable and optimal performance even in harsh conditions.
Brake Lining Material: Special "Ultrasonic UCT" technology is effectively utilized to blend various materials in a balanced way.
Fiber Ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backplate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It also blocks moisture, suppressing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel Backplate: Formed under 22 tons of pressure, and then subjected to 900 degrees Celsius for 3 hours in a furnace to press the backplate.
