These brake pads are manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark.

It also blocks out moisture, which helps prevent corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed under 22 tons of pressure, then compressed by heating it in a furnace at 900 degrees for 3 hours.
