These brake pads are manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark, Northern Europe.

It also shuts out moisture, suppressing corrosion of the backing plate.
Steel backing plate: Formed with 22 tons of pressure, and subjected to 900 degrees of heat for 3 hours in a furnace to bond the backing plate.
