These brake pads are manufactured by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark.
SBS boasts the number one share of the world brake pad market. In addition to selling their own products, they also supply OEMs for motorcycles and automobiles, and are extensively involved in research, development, and sales, including support for racing. SBS brake pads feature a three-layer structure to ensure stable, top-level performance even in harsh conditions.
Brake lining material: Special "Ultrasonic UCT" technology is effectively utilized to blend each material in a balanced manner.
Fiber ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backing plate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It also shuts out moisture, suppressing corrosion of the backing plate.
Steel backing plate: Formed with 22 tons of pressure, and then bonded in a furnace at 900 degrees for 3 hours.
