This brake pad is made by SBS, a company headquartered in Denmark.
SBS boasts the world's No. 1 market share in brake pads, and in addition to its own sales, it is extensively involved in research, development, and sales, including OEM supply for motorcycles and automobiles, and support for races. SBS brake pads feature a three-layer structure to achieve stable, peak performance even in harsh conditions.
Brake lining material: The special "Ultrasonic UCT" technology is effectively utilized to blend each material in a well-balanced manner.
Fiber ceramic: By sandwiching fiber ceramic between the steel backplate and the lining material, heat transfer is suppressed, boasting excellent fade resistance.
It also blocks moisture, suppressing corrosion of the backplate.
Steel backplate: Formed with 22 tons of pressure, then heated at 900 degrees in a furnace for 3 hours to press-bond the backplate.
