Mousse is a foamed rubber device that not only prevents punctures in harsh off-road sections but also has dynamic characteristics that can make off-road racing faster, more efficient, and easier. Metzeler mousse is a replacement for inner tubes in off-road tires for motocross and enduro competitions. When installed, it can simulate a pressure equivalent to 0.7 bar +/- 0.1 atm, which is much lower than the recommended on-road pressure.
Therefore, if you participate in races using mousse, you need to pay special attention to the suspension settings.
Metzeler mousse bears the NHS mark and is prohibited for road use.
When installing mousse, the lubrication gel must be fully applied to the inside of the tire, avoiding the bead.
Metzeler mousse is available in 18-inch, 19-inch, and 21-inch sizes and must be installed using Metzeler mousse gel.
