・Development of a swingarm for the KAWASAKI Z900RS/Cafe has begun!
・In preparation for the sale of our aluminum swingarm, which can be considered the main part of our "Iron Horse Project," we conducted running tests of a prototype to pursue optimal rigidity balance.
・To achieve high rigidity and high-precision machined cross pipes and end pieces, and to ensure rigidity balance while the swingarm itself is lightweight, stabilizers are designed to access each machined part.
・For the main pipe, a new extruded material with a hexagonal "U" cross-section has been designed, with thicker upper and lower walls and thinner side walls to optimize weight reduction and rigidity balance.
・After machining, welding, and final honing, the dimensions of each part of the swingarm are checked with a 3D measuring machine.
・A special material was selected for the chain slider, and significant friction loss was achieved thanks to the convex shape that supports the chain roller and its material.
・The rear fender adopts the stock position, allowing for a wider selection of fenders to choose from.
・We have completed a swingarm that, once you start riding, you'll feel the agility and stability, taking the potential of the Z900RS/Cafe to the next level.
