Product description: The VTR250 underwent a model change in 2009. Along with the improvement from the conventional carburetor intake system to the PGM-FI (electronic control fuel injection system) intake specification, Moriwaki also redeveloped the muffler. By making the muffler compatible with the standard O2 sensor, optimal combustion efficiency is achieved. Maximum output is improved by approximately 108% (compared to STD). Output improvement is achieved across all ranges, and particularly in the practical range around 6000-8000rpm, a significant sense of acceleration and extended power can be felt. The exhaust note at startup, one of the biggest attractions of the V-twin engine, has been developed through repeated iterations to become a heavy bass specification, and the pleasant sound resonates with the rider as vibration.
