・ "Skid Pad" is an engine case protector that reduces damage to the engine in the event of a fall. It was originally a racing part used in road racing, developed to mitigate engine damage from severe falls during circuit riding. Moriwaki thoroughly reviewed the materials, shape, and strength of each part to further improve reliability when commercializing it. Taking the pad material and shape as examples, it has evolved through years of continuous improvement. To minimize fatal damage to the engine case, it has gained overwhelming support even for touring and street use, and the lineup is becoming more extensive. The high cost performance due to corporate efforts is also an attractive feature of this product. Although small, the effect is tremendous.
・Installation is easy, simply by co-fastening with the engine mount bolts. (Excluding some models/Be sure to manage the tightening torque.)
・This product requires drilling a hole in the cowl. (A template is included. This template is only a guideline, so ultimately, determine the hole position according to the vehicle.)
