The "RACING BACK STEP KIT SPEC2," which comes standard on '21- GROM MORIWAKI complete bikes, has evolved further and is now available as SPEC3.
While maintaining the popular step position of SPEC2, by reviewing the design position of the shift rod, we were able to achieve even better shift operability and rigidity.
Standard equipment on '24- GROM MORIWAKI complete bikes.
The concept is "reducing risk during falls and improving operability."
To reduce damage to the step mechanism and engine caused by contact between the change arm and shift rod during a fall, each part has been redesigned so that the shift rod passes inside the step plate.
The overall length of the change arm has been shortened, and the pedal position has been changed to a more optimal position, improving both operability and rigidity.
These benefits will be felt not only during a fall but also the moment you engage a gear and start riding.
