■Product Description
We have developed a rear rim specifically designed for the KZ1000, which was previously discontinued and unobtainable.
Currently, since a specially designed model is not available, many users use Z1/Z2 rims, which are the closest in terms of dimensions. However, due to the different angle of the spoke holes, the spokes can flex, which may lead to breakage.
When restoring or replacing tires, we highly recommend considering replacing the rim spokes.
【About Bead Stoppers】
Rims from over 30 years ago had two holes for bead stoppers. With the performance of tires back then, it was common for the tire mounted on the rim to shift relative to the rim during sudden braking or some other vibration if there was no bead stopper. However, with the current tire performance, it is said that tires do not shift even without bead stoppers. Therefore, the design does not include bead stopper holes to simplify the tire changing process.
