■Product Description
We have developed a rear rim specifically designed for the KZ1000, which was previously unavailable due to being discontinued.
Currently, as a dedicated model is unobtainable, many people use Z1/Z2 rims, which are dimensionally the closest. However, due to different spoke hole angles, spokes may bend and potentially break.
When restoring or replacing tires, please consider replacing the rim spokes as well.
It has the "DOT" stamp, which is an American safety standard.
【About Bead Stoppers】
Rims from over 30 years ago used to have two holes for bead stoppers.
With old tire performance, tires mounted on the rim would often move relative to the rim during sudden braking or vibration if there were no bead stoppers. However, with current tire performance, it is said that tires do not slip even without bead stoppers. Therefore, the design of this rim does not include bead stopper holes to simplify the tire changing process.
