Racing plugs recommended for 2-wheel and 4-wheel vehicles are available in various types to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or with increased engine output due to tuning.
Therefore, the shape differs from the standard plugs specified by the manufacturer, and the plug's lifespan and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, conversely, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate their performance even in extremely tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, and are set with a wide range of heat ratings.

Points to note when choosing a racing plug
Please check the screw size, plug type, and shape from the part number of your genuine plug or the plug you are currently using, and then select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for guidance on how to choose the firing end shape.
The heat rating needs to be selected considering the rise in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions, in order to maintain the plug's firing end temperature within the optimal range.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
Generally, heat ratings of 7-8 are used for street driving, 8-9 for track day specifications, and 9-10 for race specifications.
The presence or absence of a resistor in the plug makes almost no difference nowadays due to improvements in ignition system performance.
Resistor-type plugs will become mainstream in the future.
Conversely, non-resistor type plugs may cause engine trouble in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, please be sure to use a resistor-type plug.
