Racing plugs recommended for motorcycles and automobiles come in various types designed to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or with engines tuned for higher output.
Therefore, their shape may differ from standard manufacturer-specified plugs, and plug life and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, on the other hand, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate performance and withstand even extremely tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, with a wide range of heat ratings up to very high values.

Precautions when choosing racing plugs:
Please determine the thread size, plug type, and shape from the part number of your genuine plug or the plug currently in use, and select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for guidance on selecting the firing end shape.
The heat rating needs to be selected to keep the firing end temperature of the plug within the optimal temperature range, taking into account the increase in combustion temperature due to engine output improvement and operating conditions.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
Generally, heat ratings 7-8 are used for street driving, 8-9 for track day specifications, and 9-10 for race specifications.
The presence or absence of a resistor in the plug makes almost no difference nowadays due to improvements in ignition system performance.
Resistor types will become the mainstream in the future.
Conversely, using non-resistor types may cause engine problems in some models of certain vehicle types.
In such cases, always use a resistor type.
