Racing plugs recommended for two-wheelers and four-wheelers come in various types designed to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or with increased engine output due to tuning.
Therefore, their shape differs from the manufacturer's standard plugs, and plug life and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, on the other hand, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate performance even in extremely tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, and are set to withstand such conditions with a wide range of heat ratings.

Precautions when choosing racing plugs:
From the part number of your genuine plug or the plug you are currently using, determine the thread size, plug type, and shape, and select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for how to choose the ignition end shape.
The heat range needs to be selected to maintain the plug's ignition end temperature within the optimal range, taking into account the increase in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions.
Simply increasing the heat range will not improve engine performance.
For mainly city driving, numbers 7-8 are used; for track day specifications, numbers 8-9 are used; and for race specifications, numbers 9-10 are used.
The presence or absence of a plug resistor now makes almost no difference due to improvements in ignition system performance.
In the future, resistor types will become mainstream.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine trouble in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, please be sure to use a resistor type.
