Racing plugs recommended for two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles come in various types designed to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or with engines that have increased output due to tuning.
Consequently, their shape differs from the manufacturer's standard plugs, and there may be a slight compromise in plug life and low-speed performance.
However, conversely, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate their performance and withstand even extremely tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, with a wide range of heat ratings up to very high values.

Important points when choosing racing plugs:
Please determine the screw size, plug type, and shape from the part number of the genuine plug or the plug you are currently using, and select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for guidance on how to choose the ignition end shape.
The heat rating needs to be selected to maintain the plug's ignition end temperature within the optimal range, taking into account the rise in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
For mainly city driving, numbers 7-8 are typically used; for track day specifications, 8-9; and for racing specifications, 9-10.
The presence or absence of a resistor in the plug makes almost no difference nowadays due to improvements in ignition system performance.
Resistor types will become the mainstream in the future.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine trouble in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, please be sure to use a resistor type.
