Racing plugs recommended for two-wheelers and four-wheelers come in various types to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or when engine output is increased through tuning.
Therefore, their shape differs from the standard plugs specified by the manufacturer, and plug life and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, on the other hand, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate their performance and withstand extremely tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, with a wide range of heat ratings available.

Precautions when choosing racing plugs
Please determine the screw size, plug type, and shape from the part number of your genuine plug or the plug you are currently using, and then select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for guidance on how to choose the igniter tip shape.
The heat rating needs to be selected to maintain the plug's igniter tip temperature within the optimal range, taking into account the rise in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
For mainly city driving, numbers 7-8 are used; for track day specifications, 8-9; and for racing specifications, 9-10.
The presence or absence of a plug resistor now makes little difference due to the improved performance of ignition systems.
Resistor types will become mainstream in the future.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine trouble in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, please be sure to use a resistor type.
