Precautions for choosing racing plugs
From the part number of your genuine plug or currently used plug, check the thread size, plug type, and shape, then select the corresponding type.

The heat rating needs to be selected to maintain the plug's ignition end temperature within the optimal range, taking into account the increased combustion temperature due to engine output improvement and operating conditions.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
Typically, heat ratings of 7-8 are used for street driving, 8-9 for track day specifications, and 9-10 for race specifications.
The presence or absence of a resistor in the plug makes almost no difference these days due to improvements in ignition system performance.
Resistor types are becoming the mainstream.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine problems in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, always use a resistor type.
