Racing plugs recommended for two-wheelers and four-wheelers come in various types designed to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or with engines whose output has been increased through tuning.
Therefore, their shape may differ from the manufacturer's standard plug, and plug life and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, on the other hand, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate performance and withstand even extremely tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, with a wide range of heat ratings up to high heat values.

Points to note when choosing racing plugs
From the part number of your genuine plug or the plug you are currently using, determine the thread size, plug type, and shape, then select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for how to choose the firing end shape.
The heat range needs to be selected considering the increase in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions, in order to maintain the plug's firing end temperature within the optimal range.
Simply raising the heat range alone will not improve engine performance.
For mainly street use, heat ranges 7-8 are common; for track day specifications, 8-9; and for race specifications, 9-10.
The presence or absence of a plug resistor now makes almost no difference due to improvements in ignition system performance.
Resistor types will become the mainstream in the future.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine trouble in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, please be sure to use a resistor type.
