Racing spark plugs, recommended for both 2-wheel and 4-wheel vehicles, are available in various types to further improve performance when used in races, circuit driving, or with increased engine output due to tuning.
Therefore, their shape differs from the manufacturer's standard plugs, and the plug's lifespan and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, on the other hand, they are developed and designed to perform sufficiently and withstand even highly tuned engines and very severe operating conditions, with a wide range of heat ratings set for fine-tuning.

Precautions when choosing racing spark plugs
Please check the screw size, plug type, and shape from the genuine plug or the part number of the plug you are currently using, and then select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for how to choose the ignition end shape.
The heat rating needs to be selected considering the rise in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions, in order to maintain the plug's ignition end temperature within the optimal range.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
For mainly city driving, numbers 7 to 8 are generally used; for track day specifications, numbers 8 to 9; and for racing specifications, numbers 9 to 10.
The presence or absence of a resistor in the spark plug makes almost no difference nowadays due to advancements in ignition system performance.
Resistor types are expected to become mainstream in the future.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine problems in some vehicle models.
In such cases, please be sure to use the resistor type.
