Racing spark plugs, recommended for two and four-wheeled vehicles, come in various types designed to further enhance performance when used in racing, circuit driving, or with tuned engines that have increased output.
Consequently, their shape differs from the standard plugs specified by the manufacturer, and plug life and low-speed performance may be slightly compromised.
However, in return, they are developed and designed to fully demonstrate their performance even in highly tuned engines or under very severe operating conditions, with a wide range of heat ratings.

Points to note when choosing racing spark plugs:
From the part number of your genuine plug or the plug you are currently using, determine the thread size, plug type, and shape, and then select the corresponding type.

The heat rating needs to be selected to maintain the plug's ignition end temperature within the optimal range, taking into account the rise in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
For mainly street use, numbers 7-8 are common; for track day specifications, 8-9; and for racing specifications, 9-10 are used.
Recently, due to improvements in ignition system performance, there is almost no difference in the presence or absence of a resistor in the spark plug.
Resistor types will become the mainstream in the future.
Conversely, non-resistor types may cause engine problems in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, always use a resistor type.
