Racing spark plugs recommended for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles come in various types designed for further performance improvement when used in races, circuit driving, or with increased engine output due to tuning.

Precautions for choosing racing spark plugs
From the part number of your genuine plug or currently used plug, check the thread size, plug type, and shape, and select the corresponding type.
Please refer to the manufacturer's website for how to choose the firing end shape.
The heat rating needs to be selected considering the increase in combustion temperature due to increased engine output and operating conditions, in order to maintain the plug's firing end temperature within the optimal range.
Simply increasing the heat rating alone will not improve engine performance.
For mainly street use, heat ratings 7-8 are used; for track day specifications, 8-9; and for race specifications, 9-10.
Recently, due to improvements in ignition system performance, there is almost no difference between resistor and non-resistor plugs.
Resistor type plugs will become the mainstream in the future.
Conversely, with non-resistor types, there is a risk of engine trouble in some models of some vehicle types.
In such cases, please be sure to use resistor types.
