What is an EL Meter?
An EL (electroluminescence) display is a material that emits light when voltage is applied, and when applied to a meter, it forms a sheet.
Because EL sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are panelized for cars and motorcycles, pasted onto the normal meter, and emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they illuminate as a surface rather than individual points, the entire panel emits light uniformly and without unevenness.
The vivid illumination, especially at night, will make night touring more enjoyable.
