What is an EL Meter?
It is a sheet-like material made by applying E.L (Electro-Luminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
Because E.L sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), a panelized version for automobiles and motorcycles is affixed over the normal meter and made to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they emit light as a surface rather than a dot, the entire panel illuminates evenly and uniformly.
In particular, the vivid illumination at night will make night touring more enjoyable.
