What is an EL Meter?
E.L. (electroluminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, is applied to a meter and made into a sheet.
Because E.L. sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are paneled for cars and motorcycles, affixed over the normal meters, and made to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness at low voltage, and since they illuminate as a surface rather than points, the entire panel emits light uniformly and without unevenness.
