What is an EL meter?
It is a sheet-like material that applies E.L. (electroluminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
Because E.L. sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are paneled for automobiles and motorcycles, then affixed to the normal meter and electrically illuminated.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they illuminate as a surface rather than individual points, the entire panel emits light uniformly and evenly.
In particular, the vivid illumination at night will make night touring more enjoyable.
