What is an EL Meter?
An EL meter is a sheet-like application of E.L (electroluminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
Since EL sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are panelized for cars and motorcycles, then applied over the normal meter and electrically illuminated.
EL meters achieve high brightness at low voltage, and since they illuminate as a surface rather than individual points, the entire panel emits light uniformly without unevenness.
The vivid illumination at night, in particular, will make your night touring more enjoyable.
