What is an EL Meter?
It is a sheet-like material made by applying E.L (electroluminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
Since E.L sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are paneled for automobiles and motorcycles and then attached over the normal meter to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness at low voltage, and since they emit light as a surface rather than a dot, the entire panel illuminates evenly and uniformly.
The vivid illumination, especially at night, will make night touring more enjoyable.
