What is an EL meter?
It is a sheet made by applying E.L (electroluminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
E.L sheets can be made ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), so a panelized version for cars and motorcycles is attached over the normal meter and made to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they emit light over an entire surface rather than a single point, the entire panel illuminates evenly and uniformly.
The vivid illumination, especially at night, will make night touring more enjoyable.
