What is an EL Meter?
It is a sheet-like material made by applying E.L. (Electro-Luminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
Since E.L. sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are panelized for cars and motorcycles and pasted over the normal meter to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness at low voltage, and since they emit light as a surface rather than a point, the entire panel emits light uniformly without unevenness.
