What is an EL meter?
It is a sheet-like material created by applying E.L (Electro-Luminescence) display, which is a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to meters.
Since EL sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are paneled for automobiles and motorcycles and then affixed to the normal meter to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they emit light across an entire surface rather than a single point, the entire panel illuminates evenly without any irregularities.
