What is an EL Meter?
An EL (Electro-Luminescence) display is a substance that emits light when voltage is applied. This technology is applied to meters and made into a sheet.
Because EL sheets can be ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are panelized for cars and motorcycles, attached to normal meters, and electrically illuminated.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they glow uniformly across a surface rather than at a point, the entire panel emits light evenly without irregularities.
The vivid illumination, especially at night, will make nighttime touring more enjoyable.

EL meters are sensitive to UV light, so avoid direct sunlight after installation.
Exposure to UV light can cause surface discoloration, deformation, and affect the lifespan.
