What is an EL meter?
It is a sheet-like material created by applying E.L (electro-luminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, to a meter.
Since E.L sheets can be made ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), they are panelized for cars and motorcycles, then attached over the normal meter and made to emit light electrically.
EL meters achieve high brightness with low voltage, and since they emit light as a surface rather than points, the entire panel illuminates evenly and uniformly.
The vivid illumination, especially at night, will make night touring more enjoyable.
