S36 Rear Shock Absorber
The Ohlins Mother Model. It began more than a quarter-century ago when Kenth Ohlin, the current owner of Ohlins, who was an active racing rider at the time, replaced the twin shocks on his Husqvarna. Over many years, up to the present day, the spirit of this mother model has been continuously inherited by current models.
The S36P, a standard model with a reservoir tank; the S36E, a lightweight, simple design; the S36K, with beautiful chrome plating; and the S36PR1C1LB, a full-spec model. And the next-generation upper model, S36PR1C1L, developed to meet the demands of modern high-spec naked bikes. Ohlins' evolution knows no bounds.

New Design Cylinder Head
The oil bleed passage has been enlarged to provide more stable damping force at a higher level.
Big Bore Reservoir Tank
With a capacity increase of over 20% compared to conventional models, this φ49 large-capacity reservoir tank supports long strokes. It reduces the operating range of the free piston, thereby minimizing gas pressure changes relative to the stroke and effectively suppressing heat fade.
High-Rigidity Aluminum Cylinder, Spring
Ultra-Lightweight Aluminum Spring Adjuster
Feedback from race experience. We have minimized internal sliding friction, making it "lighter" and "more rigid" a reality. The ultra-lightweight, high-stress springs are available in two types, yellow and black, to suit rider preferences. The new design, featuring outstanding beauty, is a stepless preload adjuster with a single-nut specification. The highest precision finish allows for smooth adjustment.
Rebound Adjuster, Ride Height Adjustment Mechanism
Spherical Type End Ball Joint
Rebound damping adjustment offers a standard wide range of 30 steps. This allows for flexible settings to match various situations and rider preferences. The ride height adjustment mechanism allows for adjusting the ride height to match the vehicle's balance when riding and the specific field. Furthermore, a new spherical type end ball joint has been adopted to reduce sliding resistance and achieve a direct sense of rigidity.
Wide Range Compression Adjuster
The 20-step adjustment allows for a wide and fine-tuned setting. It employs a laminated valve-type adjustment mechanism, which is an evolution of the conventional needle valve type. Even with excessive input when passing over high-speed bumps, oil smoothly moves to the reservoir tank. A one-way valve also operates on the return path, releasing the oil instantly. The tire smoothly maintains grip on the road surface.
Super Finishing Rod
To ensure protection against scratches and smooth stroke, it is polished to the world's highest level of smoothness.
